The mission of our workshop is to enrich the musical development of string players through studying the art of chamber music. Each student is placed in an ensemble and will participate in daily rehearsals and coachings with members of the Tetra String Quartet and Taylor Morris. Additionally, students will explore fiddling and improvisation to learn how to think and play 'outside the box'. This workshop provides a sense of community for musicians, teaching students how to function as a group, communicate effectively, and prepare a musical work for performance.
